Stephen Holder
Technology Executive — IT Leadership, AI Strategy & Cybersecurity Compliance

I’ve spent 20+ years in professional-services technology, the last 23 at EnSafe — where I started as a systems administrator and now run enterprise IT as Director of Technology.
My focus is the place where AI and compliance meet. I built EnSafe's governed enterprise AI program and I own its CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity compliance work end to end. I'm at my best building things that connect business goals to technology that actually works — and defending the budget that pays for it.
What I do
AI strategy & governance — enterprise AI adoption across the company on a multi-tool model, with the acceptable-use, ethics, and risk framework around it.
Cybersecurity compliance — CMMC Level 2 / NIST SP 800-171 ownership for a federal contractor, from policy and evidence through third-party assessment.
Data & reporting — executive dashboards in Power BI that give leadership one real-time view instead of a pile of spreadsheets.
Enterprise systems & integration — the Microsoft 365 backbone and the connections that tie our business systems together, including M&A technology integration.
Background
Before EnSafe I consulted across HR, legal, and accounting technology and cut my teeth in corporate finance IT at Time Warner. I hold a B.A. from Millsaps College with a Computer Science minor — and, for what it's worth, a stretch at the California Culinary Academy that taught me more about running a hot kitchen under pressure than I expected to reuse in IT.
I write occasionally on AI adoption and governance, including a featured Q&A in the Environmental Business Journal.
